Hello all, I am an American student who will be studying abroad in London during the spring. I am an avid skier from New England and whilst I love skiing it isn't the only thing I want to do while abroad. However it would be an absolute dream to ski in the alps even for a day or 2. I know ryaniar, easyjet, and other low cost airways are about the best way to travel but does anyone have recommendations for rentals, mountains, and accommodations that wont break the bank? I am by no means tight on funds just not looking to blow all my money on one trip.
any info is helpful, thanks!
Flights to Geneva are pretty inexpensive from London. Then it's a 2-hour shuttle to the French Alps, Meribel, Val Thorens and Courchevel are all accessible on the three valleys pass which is very cheap compared to American prices. You basically get access to three mountains for the same price. There are tons of accommodations including shared to choose from.
