So far I’ve been told:
Mountain biking - don’t quite see the relationship so I’m assuming it’s for conditioning?
In-line or ice skating: I saw in the classes curriculum that they actually learn how to fall properly in addition to multiple balance lessons.
Wake boarding/water skiing: which I don’t have access to)
Edit: THANKS GUYS!!!!! I didn’t expect all the answers!!! I definitely have a few ideas now! hope you guys all have a great off season and the ones that won’t … I’m jealous!!!
Almost any form of dance.
Balance, coordination, upper/ lower body separation, lower body strength & stability, but also pressure control (both foot-to-foot and tip-to-tail), timing, rhythm, fluidity, and, if you're social/ partner dancing, improvisation:
Swing and blues dancing has made me really good at reacting to unexpected body cues (which for me has translated nicely to managing the feeling of really uneven ground under deep powder) and especially visual cues (for example, in both skiing and dance, any random person could jump out in front of you at any moment and you have to steer away, ideally without breaking your momentum). Dancing has made me more relaxed in all of my physical pursuits so it's easier for me to "shape" however I need to.
I'm also really good at asking for and incorporating highly specific body directions if I'm working with an instructor. I'm struggling to think of a great example right now, but a very beginner version of that might be: "When I'm in the middle of my turn, what percent of my weight is on my outside foot?" and whatever answer I get, I already have the muscle memory built for exactly what that feels like.

My ski instructor bf tells me this every time he gets a hockey kid in one of his lessons. It's his favorite thing because they can start skiing more interesting terrain so quickly.
