For context, Iāve been skiing for several years and I love it. My young kids love it and my wife is okay with it. Haha. She has her own fitted boots and I bought used skis on eBay for her about 3-4 years ago. I didnāt know what I was getting back then, and just got her some used K2 skis that looked like the right length based on a fit chart. Sheās taken lessons and does okay. Last season she did the best Iāve seen her do and seems to be getting a little into it. This upcoming season weāve got two trips planned, including a week in Aspen.
What Iād love to do is get her on the easiest possible ski to learn on. I donāt care much about getting something she can āgrow intoā and cost isnāt a big concernā¦if she gets good and wants something different Iāll happily buy her another setā¦but for now, I want her on something that is stable and easy to turn. Also, I live in an area where demoing skis isnāt an option. I really appreciate any advice and suggestions! Iāll take general āhow to get your wife excited about skiingā advice as well. Haha.
Edit. She is 5ā2, weighs about 120. She is 39.
HEAD SUPER JOYS! so easy to turn and fun and bouncy they are my favorites
