Free pair of skis finally pushed me to transition from boarding.

Been snowboarding since I was 8ish (30 now) and have been wanting to swap for longevity sake. Put a call out on a local FB group about transitioning and someone offered these up. Still know nothing besides what I can read online but they seem like a decent pair to learn on? Once I get more established I’ll upgrade, but planning on putting majority of funds to good pair of new boots since that is stressed as most important.
