Lift Ticket Price Inflation
Post Body
I’m new to the sport and I’m shocked by the day ticket costs. I’ve read that ticket prices have far outpaced inflation. My question is - back in the day, if you were at a large mountain with numerous peaks and lifts, would your ticket only get you into one of those regions? When I go to a big resort, my ticket is good for all the lifts. Was that always the case? If that was not the case historically, I could see some justification for the higher ticket cost.
