So I'm playing in a slow grow league, and this week I'm playing a 1k army size against an orruk player. The battle plans we are playing is "battlelines drawn" which is playing for table quarters, and it prevents you from taking g models off the board and placing them elsewhere, which basically makes gnawholes useless.

This is the army I'm thinking of taking, but I might take the warpfire throwers out, and toss in a reinforced unit of 10 gutter runners instead, but I'm not sure.

The idea is that with the Expert Conquerors battalion all my clanrats count as 3 times as many for purposes of contesting table quarters, and I'm just going to run them along the table board edge and try to keep as far away from him as possible, using the endless spell to try to stop him from running and catching up to me (using redeploy and retreat as much as possible), and using the warpseer for "battleshock immunity", to try and make it unlikely that he's going to be able to take each table quarter from me, so I should be able to score 3 pts for his 1 per turn. The gnawholes are basically there to give me casting bonuses if I happen to be close enough, and unpassable terrain, so I might be able to hide from him charging (maybe?)

Any thoughts or suggestions?
