hi all. i have been skating for a few weeks now. i can push off pretty nicely, and I can also do tic tacs and a short manual.
i am terrified of jumping on my board. i am not even trying to attempt an ollie, even just jumping straight up and down on the bolts scares the crap out of me. i am terrified of landing wrong and looping out and hurting myself badly.
weirdly, stepping onto my board horizontally (like how people stand to do ollies) also scares me for some reason.
does anyone have any tips for this? most videos i watch treat the act of jumping itself as intuitive
