I feel like I should've had a grasp on this concept right now after watching the og and the remakes, but I still haven't gotten it. I would understand if it were like a one-time thing for the OG. But it has been a recurring theme in most of the remakes as well. Was this suppose to imply anything on the narrative? Does anybody have an interesting interpretation of this? I wanna know your thoughts.
*There are a few exceptions in some remakes. But since it's a recurring pattern in some of them, it has to entail something right?
