Question about Mika and Lucas

Hey yall. There are a few plot points between season 2 and season 3 that I'm trying to piece together. This has been bothering me for a few days now and I have yet to find the answer. I appreciate any help cause I feel stupid for not knowing or if I was missing a few scenes when I watched this. Anywho:
- How did Mika conclude that Lucas wasn't gay? Was Mika trying to protect Lucas' identity as a person who wasn't out yet or did he legit use some sort of gay test or something?
- And what exactly is the reason behind why Mika allowed Lucas to sleep in their cellar?
- If he was sleeping in the cellar, why did Manon discover his clothes on their living room apartment (ep. 13)? Is this just a case of Lucas being lazy or am I just overthinking this thinking that something happened?
Is there something I'm missing here? Surely I can't be the only one asking these questions. Thanks again
