Hi, I’m a 26M in Sunnyvale and I’m looking for a relationship (in-person only). I’m also on dating apps but I feel like those generally cater towards a specific audience, and I want to cast as wide a net as possible. It’s also a lot easier to write long form text on Reddit.

A little about me:

• I’m a software engineer
• 5'11" (in actual height), white/caucasian
• In my free time I code and create online games, work out, watch tv, play board games with friends, and read
• Some of my favorite tv series are Avatar, Merlin, Veep, The Good Place, Parks and Rec, and Good Omens (I also watch a lot of anime)
• I almost exclusively read the sci-fi/fantasy genre, and some of my favorites are Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Mistborn, and Stormlight Archive
• I’m a cat person, though I don’t have any pets at the moment
• I don’t drink, smoke, or do any drugs
• I don't game too often (despite making games), but when I do it's usually on the Switch (Pokemon, Mario Kart, etc) or recently Slay the Spire
• I'm not super into watching sports, but if I'm with people I can enjoy them. I also played multiple sports through part of high school
• Generally things I'm not overtly into I can enjoy if my partner likes them

About you / what I’m looking for (no need to check all boxes):

• 22-28 years old (semi-flexible on the range), HWP, and ideally lifts weights/runs
• Into muscular nerds (just from experience people who are into them generally like me)
• Gamer and/or loves fantasy series
• Is an accepting and understanding person who isn't quick to judge
• Good at communication
• Ideally within 20 minutes, further is okay for the right person :)
• Really likes cuddling and is content with staying in most nights
• DDF and does not smoke cigarettes or weed (edibles are okay)
• Not ultra liberal or conservative (e.g. the median 80% of the US)
• Looking for something longer term

To reiterate I’m not necessarily looking for someone who checks every single one of these boxes, values are also very important. That’s a bit more nuanced though so we would need to figure those out over a conversation.
