I, for one, am frankly TIRED of how difficult it is to find someone that I am attracted to and finds me attractive, and that we can have fun with. By no means am I an ugly man with no personality or blaring red flags, I am remarkably average. And finding someone remarkably average is all I'm looking for too, which seems next to IMPOSSIBLE to do.
Based on my own experiences and a few friends' retelling of the accounts they created to "gauge the competition", I have compiled a list of steps that people may find useful.
FOR MEN.
- DO NOT FUCKING SEND YOUR DICK PICTURE IN THE FIRST MESSAGE (I know I am going to be ignored).
- DO NOT FUCKING RECOUNT YOUR LIFE STORY, You WILL BE ignored. Women simply get WAY TOO MANY replies for ANYTHING they post, and they CANNOT HUMANELY read through your sob story.
- Do not reach out to posts that are low effort, for the sake of both men and women. People are out here scamming, trying to cheat, deceiving, and lying to you. PLEASE refrain from thinking from your dick from the get go.
- Do NOT start off the message on a sexual note. It is frankly disgusting how every single message starts with some lame fuck preaching about their high sex drive/insatiable libido. Jeez, we get it. You're horny. That does NOT make you special.
- If you are sending a face picture, please send a decent picture. You may not be the handsomest young man (sorry, your mum lied), but you can definitely get a better picture.
- MOST IMPORTANTLY: BE YOURSELF. Show OFF YOUR personality. Be authentic. If you fail to do this, NOTHING differentiates you from the 1000000000000000000s of other redditors hitting any female up. And TRUST me, there is 100% a guy that will DM a girl here, who has a bigger dick than you, who has more money, more muscles, a better car, a better everything.
- Please upvote or comment on other dudes' posts. Let us celebrate effort and authenticity and NOT downvote a dude because he is potential competition.
The only way you are going to win, is to be yourself. 7. Be authentic, and try to be funny. It is SAD how out of the 10000000000000000 responses my friends got, how they were all mostly DRY, unremarkable, and bland. If you can make someone laugh, you are ALREADY ahead of the curve. 8. Please have standards and self respect for yourself men. Be careful who you respond to, study their previous profile history well, do not share too much information in the start - it is really NOT that difficult to have the slightest bit of empathy.
I understand given how much noise is generated every time a woman posts, it might be extremely difficult for them to find the right partner as well. And I want everyone to find the person that is a good fit for them. Here are 2 things that I think could help us if women might try them out too. I tried to think of more, but honestly, it must be difficult here for women - you have my sympathy.
If you are posting, having more filters and criteria could help. I generally refrain from reaching out on posts where I know I don't fit the bill. It makes it easier for you too if you are selective. I spend some time making my posts but I mostly get short and terse replies. If you do choose to respond to a dude's post, it helps if you can lead a good chunk of the conversation. This might just be my experience, but I'm also skeptical of people that respond to my post without saying what appealed to them, so that context helps! Here is some more advice, but take this with a grain of salt. 1. In my experience, most profiles that are between a week to a month are FAKE. 2. Most profiles that have karma in 4-5 digits, and have posts that are generic/wholesome/mass-appealing BS are fake. 3. Most profiles that immediately get explicit are fake. 4. Most profiles where a "woman" sends you explicit pictures within a few minutes of your conversation are fake. I would highly recommend asking people to send photos with a hand-sign like a thumbs-up or a thumbs-down or a peace-sign.
Let us please gather together as a community. This HAS to be a group effort and I would love to see some discussions on the comments section. It should NOT be this difficult to bump uglies, I really hope we can gather together to make it better for ourselves and everyone else!
