Okay, there is a difference. Someone kinky would be turned on by being denied, and would be trying to become aroused, thus making them more depraved. Someone trying to do noFap would view it as more of a heroic struggle, fighting their inner demons (sorry to call you out, I'm not saying your goals are wrong or you should just "give in," I'm just describing how I see it). Basically, all the kinky fun is pulled out, and replaced with... free time to do other things.
