How do you find hookups?

I have tried multiple apps and websites and nothing is seeming to go anywhere. Grindr was giving me the most responses but they were all so bad. I'm bi so it doesn't matter what gender.
Sorry this is more of a rant than a question I'm very pent up and frustrated right now and I can't seem to find any horny people in my entire county.
