As of the publication of this post, we only have Smokeyâs Soul Town, Oldies Party as well as a few others. Itâs going to be two years since he died and I just feel like there should be a channel in honor of his memory. After all, not only was he the first DJ to coin the term âOldies but Goodiesâ, he also was the first DJ to introduce the concept of calling in a radio station to request a specific piece of recorded music on-air(AKA Request Line).
