How do you buy your crypto?

Hi everyone!
If you buy crypto, how do you currently do it? Neither my DBS nor CITI bank seem to allow me to buy directly from exchanges. Pretty ironic given the push by the MAS.
To date, I have sort of used a couple of work-arounds which are not ideal as I lose money alow the way:
1/ Xfers
2/ Send the funds from DBS to Wise (old transferwise) and then to the exchange (I am now using crypto.com but I am not a big fan of their fees - but not as bad as coinbase.com)
Does anyone have a better approach when using DBS?
