What are you talking about? Cigarettes and booze are not things that are intrinsically tied to how society operates. Why is it societally acceptable to have substances which actively kill people than an herb which doesn’t? Your argument holds no water.
There’s also zero health benefit to drinking or smoking. Of course any other drug can be lethal in high doses. Water can be lethal in high doses. But that’s not the intended usage of it. Pot isn’t a lethal drug. It’s much easier to feel the lethal effects of booze and tobacco much faster than other drugs. Stop arguing from a position of bad faith.

You look at lethality and long term health affects. A simple google search will give you a comparison between cannabis and cigarettes and alcohol. It makes no sense that cannabis is illegal yet has none of the health and death complications that tobacco and alcohol have.
This is a completely backwards way of thinking and it will cause Singapore to lose out in millions of tax revenue. States and countries that have legalized it have realized that the benefits vastly outweigh the cons.
