TS2 does not save game and family bin is cleared after second loading on Windows 11

Hey! I am using Windows 11 and I know that there are issues with the Overdrive feature. I removed overdrive from my computer, but I still have an Overdrive folder in my computer and my files are saving there instead of the regular User folder. I want to mention that I am using The Sims 2 Starter Pack, as my CD case and key are lost. The game runs perfectly, but once I save and quit, my saves disappear the next time I start it. The family bin is also erased and there are no more families to choose. If I reinstall the game, I have the same issue.

Any advice would be appreciated, thank you :)
