Corrupted Character Data Straight Outta Bodyshop?
Post Body

I have encountered an odd issue which I hope the hive mind will be able to help me resolve.

I have the Ultimate Collection on W11, running LazyDuchess' RPC Launcher. I do have a number of mods and a fair bit of CC but the problem exists after a fresh install and empty Downloads folder.

I am using a combination of cleaned/ empty premade neighbourhood templates and custom neighbourhoods (with no sims).

Without exception, and regardless of the source/ complexity of the Sim, every sim created through Bodyshop and then imported into the game via CAS, has only 2 character data files and their name randomised.

This is consistent in the custom ueberhood and premade neighbourhoods.

Prior to the fresh install, the created Sims also had no portrait image, presenting just a mr potato head against red background. Post-fresh install the sole test subject does have a portrait but has missing character data, 0 days left as an adult, and his name randomised (though he does belong to the given family, of which he is the sole member).

Further information on request if i've missed anything obvious which is required information.

Things I have still to try:

  1. Launch via Origin rather than RPC
  2. Run Hoodchecker
  3. Clone and make changes to Sim in order to 'convince' game the Sim was not made in Bodyshop
  4. Other things which i've now forgotten

ETA: Hoodchecker reported a bunch of broken memories, unrelated to the problem Sim and 7 Sims with no character data, i presume 6 of these are things like the radio controlled car and 1 is the CAS Sim but will verify.
