I have a cast of 300 Sims for my upcoming play, a combination of custom, playables and NPCs (the latter 2 previously extracted and cleaned/ fixed).

I have selected Sims earmarked for specific roles (such as Mortimer Goth as a Drama Professor, for example) and am wondering if there's any way I can have them in the game, for sim surgery purposes, but not have them randomly appear, at a club for example (in hindsight Mortimer Goth was a poor example).

I have a bad habit of saying a lot while still managing to say very little so please feel free to seek clarifications!

ETA: Potential brainwave, if they have the 'I am dead' token, would that stop them from appearing but still make them available for surgery?

ETFA: Could I, as required, add a Sim to the game, but never play them, just add through CAS and quit from neighbourhood screen, then go into SimPE, perform the surgery/ name change/ etc, then delete the created Sim?
