Question about FFB in WRC:G - do the cars still "float?"

In WRC 10 I notice there's not much gravel feel. I don't have an amazing wheel (TMX Pro), but literally I get no feel from gravel, dirt, etc in the handling, like I feel like I should feel the bumps but it's just kinda like the car floats on it. I love the game, but it's bad on the immersion factor there.
Is WRC:G still like this?
