Arcade racing game vet new to using a wheel; struggling. Any tips?
Post Body

Hi all, I’m new to sim racing with my recent purchase of a Thrustmaster TMX set for my Xbox. I’ve been playing racing games since Grand Turismo 1 all the way up to FM7 and FH4.

I’m really struggling to use a wheel. I’m having a huge problem with loosing control of the vehicle while turning. On a controller, I feel like I have no problem letting off the gas to maintain traction nor do I loose complete control of the car when I over/under steer.

Since using the controller, I feel like I’m all over the place. It’s like the steering wheel isn’t behaving like how I thought it would and I find myself completely spinning out every turn. I also feel like I’m constantly swerving and unable to drive in a straight line. Any tips?
