DD vs. Belt Drive
Post Body

I'm not anywhere near ready to upgrade yet. Hell, I haven't "uncrater" any of my equipment yet... 😂... But I've been reading about some of the more advanced systems and honestly, some of the higher end belt driven wheels sound pretty amazing. I'm wondering how many of you have gone through the different levels; gear, belt, direct. I'm wondering if those when went from gear straight into a high end belt wheel still felt a need to go DD.

I know many of you probably started with belts and skipped over the entry-level gear wheels. But I decided to start with the most basic Logitech set-up to see how much use my rig gets. If it gets a lot of action, I'll probably upgrade fairly quickly. I don't want to jump into a mid-level wheel just to upgrade again.

So, are some of these highly rated belt systems all you would need or are you left still wanting once you get one. I appreciate you guys sharing your experiences and opinions on this new "to me" hobby!
