Hey all, i'v had a interest in this hobby for years but it's only been since recently I have the space for it and the money.
I cleaned out my spare bedroom and put my PC in there, bought a Logitech pro wheel and mounted it on a cheap gt omega wheel stand, nothing amazing but eventually I'll get a better rig once I can. I figured I would spend on the wheel for now and get a better rig later.
What game do people recommend starting with just to be a better driver? I definitely feel out of control a lot and I know I have a lot to work on but I'm enjoying it regardless. Any videos I should watch?
I've just been tinkering with Asseto Corsa and enjoying that, I don't want to jump into any multiplayer right away since I know I'm not really ready for that yet. I will get my PS5 setup soon too and try out GT7 but I also want to pick up ACC while it's on sale and get AM2 eventually.
It's hard sometimes because most games do have you jumping between cars and tracks like crazy and that's obviously impossible to learn with. Is there a more focused way? Should I just focus on time trials?
I know you get a feel for it and can read the line more as you progress and probably have a easier time adjusting to a new track. There's a lot to learn with this but I'm really enjoying it.
