Hey all!
So I have never played a racing sim in the past, and I am so stoked to get into one finally since this new Forza release is going to have support for blind players.
I don't get to play many games very often, so I typically stick to just watching audio described content, or reading books, or wathcing YouTube or something of the sort. But then, Microsoft announced those awesome accessibility features coming to the next Forza, and I am now ecstatic to finally be able to play a game with others and actually stand a fair chance! Which is incredible that they were able to accomplish even that.
With this being said, I have always found the idea of bass shakers to be really awesome, and a nice little extra way to get a new layer of immersion to your gaming experience, or movie experience for that matter, so I want to see if there is some way that I can get one of these set up for me to use?
The thing is, since I am blind, it is real tough to follow instructions that are visual, and most of the time I find an instructional video or other ocntent, it's real tought o understand. And I feel like text-based explanations are a little rough, since I can't look at the accompanying imagery to tell what to do.
With that being said, is there any chance, albeit a really small one, that a redditor here wouldn't mind helping me set one of these up in my home? Or perhaps giving me detailed instructions on how to set one of these up?
I live in the Kern County in California, so if anyone here is local and wants to lend a helping hand, I would be extremely grateful! But if you guys wanted to just simply lend me your aid with some text-based instructions, I would be grateful as well, and would definitely give it a shot. <3
I am of course going to buy whatever I would need, including any supplies I would need, and of course pay for labor as well if someone did end up coming here to help out.
Please feel free to post any comments, and I am eager to hear back from you all. (:
