Doorbell only sending notifications when disarmed?

When I'm home and my system is disarmed I recieve alerts and recordings every time someone walks near my doorbell camera. Even workers I've had over walking up and down my driveway, nowhere near my camera.

Twice now, while I was away and the system was armed, I have had packages delivered to my front door with zero notifications or recordings. I know the package has arrived because I get a delivery notification from the carrier. Both times I have went in and checked my doorbell cam and I can clearly see the package sitting in front of the door...but no notification from SimpliSafe?

Anyone else experience this?
