Loool guys donât laugh at me for this corny post but⌠Do you guys like love stories that are based on simple towns and villages rather than cities? I find that love movies based in cities are always fast paced and all about the characterâs fashion and âcoolnessâ, while love movies set in small towns/villages always seem more shy, genuine, simple and cute. The characters donât wear the most coolest of clothes or act super cool or go on expensive dates, usually theyâre more shy and the build up is more genuine and cute to me. Idk just my opinion, what do you guys think?
Not really. I don't want a story that feels like it could happen to me because then I will spend a lot of time feeling sorry for myself that it hasn't.
When I read romance novels, I prefer the fantastical. So, fantasy-romance, vampires, or urban fantasy romance. Right now I am re-reading the Hidden Legacy novels. I read to escape my life, not to get caught up in the ways it doesn't work or to think about how the amount of effort you put into your love life is in no way reflective of what comes out of it. I would rather worry about the mage-murderers on the loose or the fragile peace between the psychic and were communities crumbling.
