So, the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 isn't perfect, but it's way more acceptable than the Silent Hill HD Collection on PS3. Working with an incomplete build of Silent Hill 2 and removing the original voice actors of Silent Hill 3, the HD Collection was marred by performance issues and bugs.

But!!

What if Konami made a Master Collection of Silent Hill with care and time? I'm thinking two volumes should do, plus a bonus collection on phones.

Here's my version:

All 4K and 60fps. All games have been optimized to remove those annoying performance issues, especially on the later games..

Vol. 1 contains Silent Hill 1-4, Shattered Memories, and a translated version of the Play Novel.

Vol. 2, because the games ain't all great, contains Homecoming, Downpour, Book of Memories, Origins, Short Message, and Arcade.

Special Phone Collection is an HD remaster of the phone games for Android and iPhone.

To be honest, I'd be down if Konami revived all their Silent Hill media, good or bad, as a celebration. A new edition of the Silent Hill comics omnibus, rerelease of Silent Hill and Silent Hill Revelations 3D in theaters, a new compilation of the soundtracks much like the sounds box, and translations of the novels. Hell, I'd be down with a Blu-ray of that awful Silent Hill Ascension in an Ultimate Cut with the true canon story. This is just wishful thinking as I doubt it would ever happen.

I still think Master Collections would be cool. Are you down if they made a couple volumes? What about other media? What's your line up? What would you omit? What would you include? What did I forget?
