Celandine poppies in their little furry coats

This north east is native Clenadine poppy (Stylophorum diphyllum) are always the first to pop in my garden. They push out through the snow with little fuzzy coats on and stay low to the ground for a bit
Then, when they’ve decided it’s time, they start exploding outwards and eventually push out gorgeous yellow flowers. Totally my barometer of spring
