I’m only 19, I dont know why but ever since I was in 6th grade I’ve always wanted to own vending machines and maintain them and such. That was however many years ago and I never really consistently kept up so my main question is, are the profits still decent for the efforts it takes? The biggest thing that turned me away from it is the talk about getting an LLC and making it an official business which also cost money to start up.

Do I really need all that? or is it possible to just kind of buy them, find a location, and start stocking them up?

and if I buy a vending machine, how difficult is it to understand how it works and to operate? People make it seem somewhat simple but I’m no experts in machines.

and another question, do you think it would be smart to charge maybe local business to advertise within the vending machine? something I always thought about was charging people and putting their business cards with every item in the machine but I’m not sure if thats a good idea.

This feels like a very loaded question so any input or suggestions would be amazing!
