Looking around the internet I have noticed a lot of Siberian Husky owners talking about how big their dogs are. My Husky is definitely not as big as some people are saying their dog is. I looked up the breed standard: Weight Male 45–60 pounds (20–27 kg) Female 35–50 pounds (16–23 kg) Height Male 21–23.5 inches (53–60 cm) Female 20–22 inches (51–56 cm) My dog is smack dab in the middle of these ranges yet everyone I meet tells me he is small for a Husky, which actually really makes me mad because he is breed standard. We had him neutered at 6 months, and I know this can affect how muscular and "manly" they become due to the testosterone which could be why he is in the middle of the range and not on the larger side. Here he is... http://imgur.com/x0BA8 So my question is... What is your Husky's weight and height, and when did you neuter? It's all just out of curiosity because of the varying weights I am seeing on this page, especially the weights that are outside the breed standard range.
