So, my situation looks the following: My friend has a small grow containing Psilocybe mexicana. I wanna start too, but will have to start from scratch. My current plan is Uncle Bens TEK Shoebox with mono tub:

1. Create a spore print from my friends shrooms
2. Grow spore print either in agar or make a syringe (?)
3. Either make agar from scratch or buy ready to use agar dishes
4. Would need a SAB for the agar / Uncle Bens TEK (?)
5. Inject it into Uncle Bens Bags (could I also just drop the aluminium foil in the bag? - I would save quite some money for the agar and or spore print)
6. Transfer the Uncle Bens into a mono tub

I honestly would like to go straight from my friends spores to a syringe, because I will need to invest less money for my first run. Creating agar sounds super fun, with the pressure cooker, but im tight on money right now. W/o Agar Its more likely to contaminate my whole bag, right? Would you maybe completely advise against the UB tek? I would like to use it since I can skip the SAB, the price is not the biggest issue, the holes are. Do you think my plan is suitable for a beginner? Feel free to recommend me teks that you think are more suitable. I quite like the idea of a couple monotubs though.
