UPDATE! It's back up and it seems that at least some of the vendors are posting again. Don't forget to sub to the other subs I linked below in case something like this happens again.

Yesterday a rogue mod locked down r/sporetraders, banned all of the vendors, and removed a month of posts. The subreddit is unlocked now but it seems that none of the vendors are allowed to post. Many of the vendors have also been banned from reddit entirely for selling legal spores and cultures.

We are adding a clarification to our no sourcing rule that includes advertising spores and cultures here. Even "guerilla advertising", or other so called loopholes, where a seemingly regular user is repeatedly plugging a source of spores or cultures.

I will always advocate that everyone prep your own substrates. That being said, the vendors do provide a valuable service to the online mush cult community helping out noobs or people too busy to make their own stuff and always doing giveaways. Most of them are still active on r/MycoBazaar , r/MycoBuySellTrade , and r/Sporeswap so please support them if you wish. I know for many of them, they have a small operation and count on reddit to survive.
