Insight on shrooms for depression

Hello to you all, I am new to this group and also new to the shroom world. I have been dealing with severe depression for many years now and stopped taking antidepressants because they were not working. I have heard that shrooms helps tremendously for people in my situation and would like to come to you all for insight on if this is true? Would taking shrooms help cure my depression?
