Am about to move my Cubensis grain bag to a monotub in a couple of days, I have some questions though, any help greatly appreciated.

Post Body

So I have been using a 7w reptile heating mat to keep the temperature good whilst inoculating the grain bag. I'd say it's about 2 days away from being fully consolidated so now I need to make a tub. Initially the shelf I'm doing it on only has 28cm of height however I plan to dismantle it and move it down as much as I can to give more clearance and make room for my bigger monotub/dubtub. I have a larger 16w reptile heating mat this time and because of my height constraints I'm wondering the best way of having this mat underneath my monotub without directly contacting it to allow air diffusion and what not. My idea was to buy some insulation foam, and have that between the heating mat and my tub, does that sound like a good idea? Or are there any other suitable materials I could use? After moving my shelf down I should have maybe 40 ish centimetres of height to work with and that should be okay but I need to work out how much space to allow between the heating mat (which is mm thick btw very thin, and my monotub? Should I just prop up the corners of the tub or use something like I suggested and get some sort of insulation foam to go between them? Also, is micropore tape good enough to cover the co2 exhale holes in my monotob? Plan was to use that to cover the holes I cut, and cover them up while i let it recolonise and then uncover them and hopefully it will be enough to keep contaminants out whilst letting air pass. Anyways any help and advice is greatly appreciated, I look forward to fruiting some b Cubensis in the coming weeks hopefully 🤞

Also, from experience here anyone gimme some rough grow heights of a cubensis strain? Wanna make sure I give everything enough room to grow to its full potential

TL;DR - what are some good materials for heat dissipation between heat mat and monotub. Is Micropore tape sufficient enough to keep contams out? How tall do your cubes grow? Any other bits of advice would be great too as it's my first grow but going well so far. Cheers guys
