How long do liberty caps take to sprout and grow?

So, I've been looking for liberty caps the last few weeks and today I have found two quite small ones that I can confirm to be liberty caps. Now the question I have is about a liberty caps life cycle, I've read that they can sprout after rainfall as soon as 6-8 hours or so but how long do they actually take to grow? I don't want to keep taking unnecessary trips up to the fields in this awful rain haha 😅 any help and advice is greatly appreciated, thanks a bunch guys! I've taken mushrooms many a time and this year I'm determined to find and pick my own and I'm getting closer and closer
