How to get long stems

Back story: GT’s. first flush was good but they all had short stems, although, I still harvested around 1.5 ounces (dried). I did have some contamination on one side of the tub so I thought that it could have been because of that. I cut out the remaining good substrate and moved to a new tub to see if anything would eventuate. To my surprise the second flush came through and began to pin. (Winning) But the stems are still short. Anyone have any tips on how to get them to grow higher. They are under a light for 10hrs
