Gepetto Shrooms: Intense, Trippy, and NOT for Beginners 🚀🍄

Post Body

Hello,

Today, I want to tell you about my trip with the Gepetto strain.

I’ve been using magic mushrooms since 2021, but I usually take Cambodian and Thai strains. This was my first time trying Gepetto.

And here’s my personal report on how it went.

For this trip, I only took 1g, which was enough for an intense experience. But if you want an ideal trip, I’d recommend taking 2g.

With 1g, you always feel like you’re stuck somewhere in between—not quite here, not quite there, you know? Too trippy to feel sober, but too aware to fully trip.

That’s why I recommend 2g if you want what I consider the sweet spot—a solid balance between visual and mental effects.

Anything beyond that probably won’t make a huge difference and might just be a waste.

⚠️ BEFORE YOU CONTINUE ⚠️

If you’ve been diagnosed with any mental health condition—like schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder, psychosis, etc.—I’d strongly suggest talking to your doctor first before taking any amount.

Even small doses can be dangerous in these cases, sometimes even fatal.

If you’re unsure, it’s better not to risk it.

🚨 Also, I wouldn’t recommend this strain for a first trip. 🚨

Now we can go 😮‍💨

Trip Report

🟢 Intensity: Very high 🟢 Type of trip: Visual & physical 🟢 Duration: Around 4-5 hours, with intense peaks in the first 2 hours, then stabilizing and gradually fading after the 3-hour mark. 🟢 If this trip were an emoji: 🫨 🟢 If this trip were a weed strain: Sativa

What’s the trip like?

You’ll start feeling the first effects within 30 minutes—very mild at first, like a tingling sensation on your back and arms.

At around 40 minutes to 1 hour, things start to hit hard. • You’ll experience strong mental confusion, making it difficult to organize your thoughts. Stay calm—this will pass. Focus on the music. • At this stage, closing your eyes won’t be an option, and visual distortions will kick in. • The key is to let everything flow—physical, emotional, and spiritual sensations. Don’t fight them, or they’ll intensify. Remember: everything you feel is temporary.

By hour 3, most effects are still present but start to fade. By hour 4-4.5, the intensity drops significantly.

Things to consider

🔸 Highly sensitive to sound and touch – Even the smallest thing can shift the vibe completely. 🔸 Deep introspective moments – At certain points, you’ll have intense thoughts and might want to close your eyes. 🔸 You’ll feel cold at first, but it eases over time. 🔸 Heat waves can hit later in the trip. 🔸 Mild low blood pressure sensations in the beginning/middle. 🔸 Difficult to digest – Causes intense stomach pain (lasts only a few minutes but can be disruptive). 🔸 Heavy body sensation throughout the entire trip.

🎵 MUSIC MATTERS! LISTEN TO THE PLAYLIST IN THE COMMENTS! 🎵

I highly recommend listening to the playlist I linked in the comments—it was specifically made to guide you through the highs and lows of this trip.

There will be moments when the music feels overwhelming, and your mind might feel chaotic (which can actually be a great time to reflect on anything bothering you). Trust the playlist—the next song will always bring balance and make it worth it.

Recommendations | the ideal set and settings

✅ Eat something light beforehand. ✅ Trip in a completely safe place—avoid public areas if possible. ✅ If tripping outdoors, beaches, waterfalls, or rivers are ideal. Parks are okay, but only if surrounded by nature. ✅ If you must trip in public, have a sober sitter to handle potential issues (like street vendors or random people approaching—small things can mess up the trip). ✅ Sober people should never interfere in someone else’s trip. If you’re not taking it, let the others experience it fully. ✅ Everyone present should know who’s taken it and how much. Keeping it a secret can lead to paranoia and even trigger a bad trip. ✅ First 2 hours are very intense—avoid talking to anyone. Keep your thoughts to yourself so you don’t disrupt others. ✅ Consider talking to others only when the trip starts mellowing out (around hour 3). ✅ If a sensation feels overwhelming, focus on the music. ✅ The playlist is designed to have highs and lows. If things feel too intense, just breathe—the next song will be lighter. ✅ When things feel difficult, take 10 deep breaths—it helps. ✅ Have fruit available throughout the trip. ✅ Drink something really cold—like a natural fruit milkshake, juice, coconut water, or just ice-cold water. You’ll see, it’s liberating. ✅ Set and setting are crucial—this strain will make you feel restless and hyperactive at times, and if things aren’t well planned, you might feel like you’re always missing something, which can take away from the experience. ✅ Keep some nuts or salty snacks easily accessible—sometimes, you’ll feel the need to chew on something. ✅ Indica weed with high THC can be nice, if you enjoy mixing. 🚫 Avoid sativa—it might make things too overwhelming. ✅ Choose a day when you’re in a good mood—everything will feel way more intense, so your mindset matters a lot. ✅ Drink cold water occasionally, but not too much, or it might make things worse. ✅ If your body feels too heavy, change positions. If that doesn’t help, don’t fight it—resisting will only make it worse.

Key Differences From Other Strains

🔹 Much more intense trip overall. 🔹 Heavy body load—you’ll feel weighted down the entire time. 🔹 Extremely vivid visuals—more than other strains. 🔹 Very distinct highs and lows—there will be moments where you feel like you wanna jump around, and others where you’ll just wanna curl up in fetal position lol. Unlike other strains, this one isn’t as stable—it fluctuates a lot.
