Hello,
Today, I want to tell you about my trip with the Gepetto strain.
Iâve been using magic mushrooms since 2021, but I usually take Cambodian and Thai strains. This was my first time trying Gepetto.
And hereâs my personal report on how it went.
For this trip, I only took 1g, which was enough for an intense experience. But if you want an ideal trip, Iâd recommend taking 2g.
With 1g, you always feel like youâre stuck somewhere in betweenânot quite here, not quite there, you know? Too trippy to feel sober, but too aware to fully trip.
Thatâs why I recommend 2g if you want what I consider the sweet spotâa solid balance between visual and mental effects.
Anything beyond that probably wonât make a huge difference and might just be a waste.
â ď¸ BEFORE YOU CONTINUE â ď¸
If youâve been diagnosed with any mental health conditionâlike schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder, psychosis, etc.âIâd strongly suggest talking to your doctor first before taking any amount.
Even small doses can be dangerous in these cases, sometimes even fatal.
If youâre unsure, itâs better not to risk it.
đ¨ Also, I wouldnât recommend this strain for a first trip. đ¨
Now we can go đŽâđ¨
Trip Report
đ˘ Intensity: Very high đ˘ Type of trip: Visual & physical đ˘ Duration: Around 4-5 hours, with intense peaks in the first 2 hours, then stabilizing and gradually fading after the 3-hour mark. đ˘ If this trip were an emoji: 𫨠đ˘ If this trip were a weed strain: Sativa
Whatâs the trip like?
Youâll start feeling the first effects within 30 minutesâvery mild at first, like a tingling sensation on your back and arms.
At around 40 minutes to 1 hour, things start to hit hard. ⢠Youâll experience strong mental confusion, making it difficult to organize your thoughts. Stay calmâthis will pass. Focus on the music. ⢠At this stage, closing your eyes wonât be an option, and visual distortions will kick in. ⢠The key is to let everything flowâphysical, emotional, and spiritual sensations. Donât fight them, or theyâll intensify. Remember: everything you feel is temporary.
By hour 3, most effects are still present but start to fade. By hour 4-4.5, the intensity drops significantly.
Things to consider
đ¸ Highly sensitive to sound and touch â Even the smallest thing can shift the vibe completely. đ¸ Deep introspective moments â At certain points, youâll have intense thoughts and might want to close your eyes. đ¸ Youâll feel cold at first, but it eases over time. đ¸ Heat waves can hit later in the trip. đ¸ Mild low blood pressure sensations in the beginning/middle. đ¸ Difficult to digest â Causes intense stomach pain (lasts only a few minutes but can be disruptive). đ¸ Heavy body sensation throughout the entire trip.
đľ MUSIC MATTERS! LISTEN TO THE PLAYLIST IN THE COMMENTS! đľ
I highly recommend listening to the playlist I linked in the commentsâit was specifically made to guide you through the highs and lows of this trip.
There will be moments when the music feels overwhelming, and your mind might feel chaotic (which can actually be a great time to reflect on anything bothering you). Trust the playlistâthe next song will always bring balance and make it worth it.
Recommendations | the ideal set and settings
â Eat something light beforehand. â Trip in a completely safe placeâavoid public areas if possible. â If tripping outdoors, beaches, waterfalls, or rivers are ideal. Parks are okay, but only if surrounded by nature. â If you must trip in public, have a sober sitter to handle potential issues (like street vendors or random people approachingâsmall things can mess up the trip). â Sober people should never interfere in someone elseâs trip. If youâre not taking it, let the others experience it fully. â Everyone present should know whoâs taken it and how much. Keeping it a secret can lead to paranoia and even trigger a bad trip. â First 2 hours are very intenseâavoid talking to anyone. Keep your thoughts to yourself so you donât disrupt others. â Consider talking to others only when the trip starts mellowing out (around hour 3). â If a sensation feels overwhelming, focus on the music. â The playlist is designed to have highs and lows. If things feel too intense, just breatheâthe next song will be lighter. â When things feel difficult, take 10 deep breathsâit helps. â Have fruit available throughout the trip. â Drink something really coldâlike a natural fruit milkshake, juice, coconut water, or just ice-cold water. Youâll see, itâs liberating. â Set and setting are crucialâthis strain will make you feel restless and hyperactive at times, and if things arenât well planned, you might feel like youâre always missing something, which can take away from the experience. â Keep some nuts or salty snacks easily accessibleâsometimes, youâll feel the need to chew on something. â Indica weed with high THC can be nice, if you enjoy mixing. đŤ Avoid sativaâit might make things too overwhelming. â Choose a day when youâre in a good moodâeverything will feel way more intense, so your mindset matters a lot. â Drink cold water occasionally, but not too much, or it might make things worse. â If your body feels too heavy, change positions. If that doesnât help, donât fight itâresisting will only make it worse.
Key Differences From Other Strains
đš Much more intense trip overall. đš Heavy body loadâyouâll feel weighted down the entire time. đš Extremely vivid visualsâmore than other strains. đš Very distinct highs and lowsâthere will be moments where you feel like you wanna jump around, and others where youâll just wanna curl up in fetal position lol. Unlike other strains, this one isnât as stableâit fluctuates a lot.
