I took the 3.27g at around 10:45am, after eating two bananas rather than on an empty stomach.
This is a dose that I’m very comfortable with, but sometimes not enough for visuals. For this trip, no visuals. But I was fine with that, and I still had a great time. Sometimes when you take too much it can be fun, but intense. For the first hour and a half or so, the shrooms were hittin’ good and I almost felt like things were going to start morphing, but after that, it was a euphoric and energetic mushroom high. The nature was so beautiful and I truly felt so happy to be able to see it.
We started the day by going to a coffee shop where they had different types of mushroom teas, soups, and cute mushroom trinkets (non active), then we went up to a view called Cape Perpetua. After that, we went to see Devils Churn, then we went and hung out at the beach until about 5 pm. At this point the trip was wearing off, and I decided to take a shower before we headed to Newport for the sunset.
The trip was not very introspective, but at times I did find myself thinking about life and how long the earth has been around. I thought about how many people 100s or 1000s of years ago have seen the same views of the coast that I was looking at, and how they too must have thought it was so beautiful.
I thought about things like how life can feel so stressful when you’re in your little daily routine bubble, and it can feel like that’s all that matters just getting through the routine. I was picturing it as a bubble that you can be mentally trapped in. In the bubble, life can feel so stressful, but it’s important to try to remember that there is more to life, and there is so much to be happy and grateful for so try not to get too caught up in that bubble of daily stresses caused by work, bills, commutes, and responsibilities. Remember to plan time for yourself, and the things that bring you true happiness. Find balance, and be good to the people in your life. There is a beautiful world outside of that bubble.
