Is my scale broken?

It's been so long since I've been in this game. It just seems like so little to be enough to register 10g. I did zero out the scale a few times just to make sure, but it keeps weighing the same.
A long time ago, I remember getting an eighth quite often for 25 bucks or so. I never remember them being 10 grams. Visually, this is about how much we would take, but something tells me if I took 10g, I would be meeting Jesus and Mary and Joseph at the same table. Maybe I'm weighing it wrong?
