My mushrooms didn't get contaminated as they grew but I didn't dehydrate them well enough and some of them got some mold on them. I seperated the moldy ones and put the rest back in the dehydrator. It looked like mold you would get on food, so I assume thats what it was. Just moldy fruit. Am I good to keep the ones without visible mold?
There were some that had only a tiny white dot of mold, so I figured I'd eat them now before they get worse. But then 30 minutes later I threw up.
I know some people will throw up after taking shrooms anyway. And they've always tasted horrible to me, I gag at the smell of them. But I've never thrown up. I DID take these an hour after eating dinner, and I normally do them on an empty stomach. That might have contributed
Did I let these go bad? This is my first grow and I'd be sad to see them go. Like I said, I am re dehydrating ones that don't have mold.
