How do I store unused agar disks ?

Post Body

I recieved my shipment of agar plates like this . Completely vacumed sealed and some sort of partial covering which I have no idea the purpose of. I was planning on using only a few of these and saving the rest for later. The fact that they are vacuum sealed is concerning to me . Is it true that im just going to lose the initial sterility that I did have when I open this pack for the first time and when i go ahead and use the remaining disks ,i’ll just need to count on best practices (spraying down with 70% alc )?

Also should I open the package inside my sterile environment or does it not really matter ?
