The extinction of fears with psychedelic therapy has been studied in some pathologies such as post-traumatic stress and other anxiety disorders. During your experiences (bad or good) have you ever dealt with fears and felt that they were overcome after the session?
I believe that especially with experiences like a bad trip, there is an increase in the activity of areas related to fear, such as the amygdala, which is associated with aversive behaviors, trauma and fear. However, days later there is a reduction in activity in this region which also accompanies less anxiety and fear, what does your experience say about this?
