My first time eating shrooms and im feeling almost nothing

hey guys i was wondering why im not feeling anything yet after i ate these shrooms. this is my first time and ate around 7 grams of shrooms. i feel a little high but nothing more then i do when i smoke weed. im wondering why im just not feeling the effects. i always wanted to trip since i never hallucinated before but im feeling nothing more then a slight high.
