Anyone else notice chewing gum has been weird/worse quality lately?

Orbit, trident, etc...I chew gum every day pretty much and over the past year or so i have noticed a decline in quality and texture. It seemingly falls apart once in your mouth, kind of similar to gum thats old and degraded over time. Orbit I will never purchase again because the whole package gets all sticky from the gum, and it seeps through the wrapper and makes the entire package a sticky mess
