We buy this product about once a year. Bought it early this time and I was left speechless when I compared both boxes.
Left box was bought on 9/22 for $14.99 USD, right was bought yesterday on sale for $13.99 USD but regular price is $19.59.
The new size comes with 2.32lbs less, which translates to $0.31/lb more. Without the sale it would be $0.82/lb more.
Crazy how much prices have changed in less than a year.

You would need to use less because its more efficient plus why would the quality of the scoop matter?
