So as the title says these are my first ever shrimp never had shrimp before. Parameters:
pH: 7 Ammonia: 0ppm Nitrite: 0ppm Nitrate: 5ppm Not sure what the temperature is currently. I keep forgetting to get a thermometer (I live 40 minutes from a store that I can get one from) There is a heater There is a filter (with a sponge filter) A few rocks, wood and lots of live plants. Been letting this cycle for the last month hence all the algae. Wanted lots to eat for the shrimp. LED light
They seem to be enjoying their new home, got them this past Friday so it’s been 2 days. I drip acclimated them for an hour before adding them. They are slowly eating all of the algae. Also can you guys tell me if they are female or male. I literally can’t tell haha.
