Long story short, I got parasites with the last shrimp I received (approx. 6 months ago) and despite my best efforts, I can’t eliminate them. I believe it is Holtodrilus Truncates and I have tried everything from painstakingly removing sheds I see to salt baths but it has been months and I can’t get rid of them all. I worry that my shrimp are suffering and they aren’t reproducing anymore plus I can’t add new blood because they will just be infected. So my question is, should I just kill off the entire tank (10gal maybe 15ish shrimp?) and if so, what is the most humane way?
