Shrimp in the pump house
Post Body

I recently got some black rose shrimp for my betta tank (they came in before the betta so they could establish good hiding spots and not be immediate snacks) It looks like atleast a few have moved into the section that is behind the main tank which is for the filter and pump and heater. Will they be good back there? Not super concerned about them being there if they’ll be safe and happy back there. The pump runs at a very low speed it doesn’t seem likely they’d end up all sucked into it. But I’m curious if they’re stuck and won’t be able to get food. Are they smart enough to know how to get back to the main tank? I could try and wrangle them out and seal the entrance but then obviously I’m reducing my filtration and warm water flow I assume.
