Moving to the Area in May - apartment suggestions?

Howdy!! I'm moving to the Shreveport area for work in May, and have been looking at some apartments/communities online and was wondering if anyone had any experience or advice that could sway me towards/away from certain places?
Some places on my list to check out and tour are: Village at Westlake, Jamestown Place, The Residences of Springridge, Coates' Bluff, Champion Lake Apartments, River Walk Apartments, among some others.
Any other nice places I should check out??
