Any amateur radio operators?

I'm looking to get my license, but I have no idea where to take the test. Anyone have any ideas? I tried contacting one of the local clubs through email but got no reply.
I'm also looking for a club with members around my own age (in my 20s). The one I found here seems to be just old guys. I'd rather be doing experiments than talking about my ailments.
